Nintendo Classic Mini is out of stock worldwide
They promise a steady supply of units in America.
The Nintendo Classic Mini is sold out worldwide. Although its launch took place on Friday (and a day earlier in Japan with the Famicom), the device has suffered major problems of stock. If the same Friday and we told you that has been exhausted in almost all stores for weeks because of the high volume of reserves, these days it has been confirmed that the situation is not limited to Spain or the European market.
At its launch in the US, according to various media, there were queues at Target, Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop stores of buyers who wanted to secure their console. However, it seems that those who did not have a reservation left mostly with empty hands.
Although it is clear that the initial console distribution has not been sufficient to meet demand (and, as a result, units for hundreds of dollars on eBay and the like have started to surface), at least in the US. Consumers should be reassured: the company has promised a steady stream of units through the holiday season to supply stores and thus meet public demand.
This message has not been transmitted from Europe, but we are confident that measures will be taken to resupply stores for the Christmas campaign.
